Sue is a registered social worker with frontline experience in child/adult protection, education, research, mental/physical health, addictions, housing, grief and loss. Sue continues her anti-oppressive direct practice work with various, local non-profit organizations. Sue’s relatedness with people is rooted in autonomy, mutual respect, honesty, and good humor. Sue is new to academia and approaches post-secondary education with a passion to teach through experiential learning, sharing narratives, and applying critical thinking/reflection skills.
