Major

Students wishing to pursue this major should consult with the Director of the Law, Politics, and Society in assembling a course of study, ideally by the end of their first year.
 

This Interdisciplinary Major consists of 36 credit hours of course work with the following components:

LAPS-1003., a 1000-level, 3-credit introductory course on law, politics, and society, designed to be a foundational introduction to the concerns of the LAPS Program

One additional 1,000-level course from among the following:

CRIM-1023.
HMRT-1006.
POLS-1013.
POLS-1103.

At least 6 credit hours from the following list of core courses in Category I:

At least 6 credit hours from the following list of core courses in Category II:

At least 6 credit hours from the courses list at the 3000 or 4000 levels.
