Interdisciplinary Major in Humanities
The Interdisciplinary Major in Humanities allows college graduates to earn a Bachelor of Arts in two years.
Students build on the practical skills from their college training and broaden their perspective on art, culture, and society through the study of fields like Communications and Public Policy, History, Philosophy, Human Rights, and English.
This program offers students an intellectual framework to situate their specialized skills and knowledge within a much wider scope of activities and greater potential. The skills gained through the major foster critical thinking and adaptability, equipping graduates with the tools they need to innovate and navigate an ever-changing professional landscape.
The Interdisciplinary Major in Humanities is intended primarily for those who have completed a diploma at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design but is open to any college graduate that has received 60 transfer credits, allowing them to complete a Bachelor of Arts by completing 60 credit hours at St. Thomas.
