Four Reasons to Live in Residence
1. You will be part of the fabric of our campus community
Our small size encourages a close-knit, involved university community, but you have to be here to fully experience it. Students who live on campus are more likely to join clubs, attend events, and meet new people.
2. Your grades will benefit
Studies have shown that students who live in residence often achieve higher grade point averages—it's hard to be late for class when you live five minutes away. Plus, you'll be steps away from helpful resources like the Writing Centre, Peer Mentoring, Learning Strategy Services, and more!
3. You will make friends from around the world
Our 1,800 students come from more than 40 countries. While you share with your housemates what it's like coming from your hometown, they'll teach you about theirs! You may find yourself learning a new language or spending a school break visiting another city or country.
4. You will have an unforgettable university experience
Your university years will be some of the best of your life, and it's important to make the most of them. Living in residence—just a few doors down from your closest friends—makes it that much easier to stay involved and connected to what's happening on campus.
