Experiential Learning

Learning shouldn’t be restricted to coursework in the classroom. Experiential learning opportunities allow you to complement what you learn in class with practical, real-world experience.

Work With Professors

Our undergraduate focus means you will have opportunities to work with professors on research projects—an experience that is usually reserved for graduate students.

In some cases, you will even have the chance to be published in peer-reviewed journals.

Moot Court

Moot Court at STU provides academic credit and courtroom experience. STUdents in Moot Court compete in the American Moot Court Association and deliver appellate oral arguments in a simulated Supreme Court proceeding in front of real judges at regional and national competitions.

Internships

Our paid internship program combines academic learning with an opportunity to gain professional experience. Internship placements offer personalized opportunities that cover a wide range of academic and career interests.

Work with organizations that focus on advocacy and social responsibility, economic development and business, marketing, environmental sustainability, and more.
