In honour of National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, STU will be holding an Every Child Matters ceremony on September 25. The event will begin at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Fire area (near the flag poles) with an opening from Elder Ron Tremblay, followed by remarks from President Nauman Farooqi. A youth drum group from Kingsclear First Nation will be in attendance to provide drumming.

Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served in the Dawn Russell Student Lounge for everyone.

The rain location for the ceremony is also in the Dawn Russell Student Lounge.
