Dr. Lisa Forman to Deliver Vigod Lecture in Human Rights

Dr. Lisa Forman will speak about the human right to health and how human rights can help address the crisis in healthcare – here in Canada and elsewhere as part of the annual Dr. Bernie Vigod Memorial Lecture in Human Rights. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 4 at 7PM in the Kinsella Auditorium.
Dr. Lisa Forman is the Canada Research Chair in Human Rights and Global Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. Her interdisciplinary research in law and public health focuses on the content and interactions between international human rights law on health and domestic and global health law, policy, and governance. Her primary research focus is on the right to health in international human rights law, and its relevance to other areas of global health law and policy including the International Health Regulations; the World Trade Organization’s Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights; and the Sustainable Development Goals.
