Biography
Andrew Klein hails from the sunny prairies of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he attended the University of Saskatchewan, earning his BA in English in 2007 and an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009. He received another MA and his PhD in English Literature at the University of Notre Dame in 2016. He taught for two years at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN before arriving at St. Thomas University, where he taught with the Catholic Studies program before joining the English Department in 2022. He teaches courses on medieval and early modern literature, the fantasy genre, critical theory, electronic literature, and digital literacy.
When he can remove his nose from books of medieval poetry, Dr. Klein is an avid guitarist and reader of contemporary fiction who enjoys time with his wife and a rowdy crew of children at home.
