ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Dr. Solati joined the Department of Economics at St. Thomas University in August 2016. Her areas of expertise are Macroeconomics, Economics of Development and Feminist Economics. She received her MA in Economics as well as her Interdisciplinary PhD in Economics from the University of Manitoba.
Her teaching areas include Macroeconomic Theory, Political Economy, Perspectives on Underdevelopment and Gender in the Global South.
Dr. Solati’s recent research projects focus on factors affecting the labor market participation of immigrants in Canada.
