With no required first-year courses, first-year course registration at St. Thomas University allows you the flexibility to explore subjects about which you are passionate and interested.
Attend this session to learn more about the art of choosing your courses without feeling overwhelmed by your newfound course selection freedom. This session will also provide an overview of the online application you will use to register in your own courses once course registration opens later this month.

Welcome Week is an exciting time to forge new relationships, experience new things, and learn about yourself. With all of the opportunities that come with Welcome Week, what is meant to be a fun week can become nerve-wracking and overwhelming – especially for STUdents who simply do not know what to expect. This session will help incoming STUdents learn what options will be available to them, what advice current STUdents have for them, and what they may wish to consider as they navigate this new, exciting chapter in their lives.
While embarking on post-secondary studies is exciting, we oftentimes hear incoming STUdents’ concerns about the workload and rigor associated with university-level coursework. This session also aims to answer your questions about university-level academics at STU, while also giving you advice and direction to ensure you make the most of your post-secondary studies here from day one. Current STUdents, faculty, and staff members will be on-hand to impart their wisdom and address any concerns you have before the start of the academic year. STUdents learn what options will be available to them, what advice current STUdents have for them, and what they may wish to consider as they navigate this new, exciting chapter in their lives.

Students who applied for residence before the April 15th deadline will soon be able to select their building placement and room type. This session will walk you through what comes next—how to pay your deposit, access the residence platform, and select your room and roommate.
We will also share helpful tips for choosing a roommate and answer any questions you may have about the process. Join us to feel confident and prepared as you move forward with your residence plans!
